Act 1scene 5

Sunday evening at Capulet’s party
As Romeo sees Juliet he asks the serving-man who’s that girl(Juliet), then tybalt hears Romeo and says to his uncle it’s a Montague I shall kill him dead, but his uncle says NO should shouldn’t kill him at my party.
Then Romeo goes up to Juliet and starts talking about love, then Romeo and Juliet start kissing.

Then the nurse says “she is the daughter of the lady of the house”, then Romeo leaves and then Juliet says find out what his name is to the nurse, she finds it out by asking Romeo. then Juliet says shes in love with her worst enemy.

    You’ve done a good job of identifying the key events in this scene. A lot of people focus on Romeo and Juliet falling for each other – but the words of Tybalt about Romeo’s “intrusion shall/Now seeming sweet convert to bitter gall.” are equally important.

    I recommend that you include a quotation from each scene with your scene summaries as this will strengthen your analysis and understanding over time.

    When you write a person, or character’s name, don’t forget to use a capital letter every time – and always re-read your sentences to make sure they make sense,

    For example: ” then tybalt hears Romeo and says to his uncle it’s a Montague I shall kill him dead, but his uncle says NO should shouldn’t kill him at my party” – needs amendment to make clear sense (can you do this at some point?)
